The core feature of bird eye cloth is the regular distribution of "closed small bumps" or "hollow small circles" texture on the surface, with a diameter usually between 1-3mm, presenting a delicate and uniform visual effect as a whole. The formation of its texture mainly relies on two weaving methods:
Knitting technology (mainstream): Through the special needle spacing arrangement of the weft knitting machine (such as "loop organization"), the yarn forms local coil accumulations on the surface of the fabric, with raised parts forming the "pupil" of the "bird's eye" and depressed parts forming the "eye socket", resulting in a more three-dimensional texture and better elasticity.
Weaving technique (niche): By using the special interweaving pattern of warp and weft yarns (such as "jacquard weave"), hollow or concave convex textures are formed on the surface of the fabric, resulting in a smoother texture and more stable structure, but with weaker elasticity.
